Daniel K. Fong, O.D. was born and raised in Sacramento. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of California, Davis, in 1983. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1987 from the University of California, Berkeley, and he also trained at Letterman Hospital in San Francisco and Kaiser Hospital in Oakland. He was in charge of pre-clinic training of second-year optometry students and was also president of the Asian American Optometry Group. A 26-year member of the American Optometric Association, Daniel K. Fong, O.D. is an active participant in the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, where he voluntarily serves at numerous local Lions Club-sponsored vision screenings.
Practicing all aspects of optometry for over 22 years, Daniel K. Fong, O.D. still enjoys the one-on-one patient interaction of a private practice as well as keeping up on the innovative technological advances in vision care such as contact lenses and LASIK management. Daniel K. Fong, O.D. was one of the first optometrists in Sacramento to successfully fit non-surgical CRT contact lenses.
An avid arranger of gospel and brass music, Daniel K. Fong, O.D. enjoys life in Sacramento with his wife Patricia and sons Kyle and Jared (when he is not golfing).
Kimberly is a licensed optician and has been employed at our office for over 10 years. She is currently the office manager of the practice. Her areas of expertise include training new contact-lens patients and fitting golfers in specialized Oakley and Maui Jim sportswear.
Jennifer is a licensed optician and has been employed in our office for over seven years. She is trained in the use of our pre-testing diagnostic instruments and is efficient in the full scope of contact-lens training and the dispensing of eyewear.
